Moz’Art – For the budding Musician and Artist in your family! Camps can choose to take a half day (piano or art) or stay for both sessions in the Full Day Camp! If you have been considering piano lessons for your child, this camp will give them an opportunity to try out the instrument, and learn basic keyboard geography and music notation in 1 week! You’ll be amazed at how much these campers learn in one week’s time! GLEE! Camp – We absolutely love the TV hit, Glee. If you do too, you’ll want to check out our GLEE Camp. Led by Tracy Davis Davenport (Master of Music, Musical Theatre) campers will learn acting and vocal technique and some simple choreography for the end of week performance.
Songwriting Camp – Ever dreamed of writing your own hit song? Or maybe being part of a band? Here’s your chance! Campers will learn the basics of songwriting from melody, harmony and chord progression, to lyric writing and instrument arrangement. They will even design their band logo and concert poster! Campers will receive a t shirt for their end of week performance featuring the band’s logo as well as a CD of their song! Camp Director (Neil Allen, Bachelor of Arts, Queens University. Piano Artistry Camp – This camp for late intermediate through advanced level piano students will propel these musicians to the next level. An intense week of Performance, Sight Reading, Music Theory, Music History, Duo/Duet Playing, Accompanying and so much more! Camp Director, Heather Brunner (Master of Music, Piano Pedagogy)
Musical Theatre Camp – Join camp director Tracy Davis Davenport (Master of Music, Musical Theatre) for a week of fun as campers learn their lines and songs for the musical, “How to Each Like a Child.” Our young actors will teach the audience “Kid Basics.” If your child loves to sing, dance and act they’ll have loads of fun this summer at Musical Theatre Camp!
