From growing up around the coast of North Carolina to studying in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Kirsten Beach is a vocalist, actress, and active performer whose heart belongs to NC. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Western Carolina University with honors and a BFA in Musical Theatre, Kirsten has shared her talents through teaching and performing. Two residencies with The REP Theatre in Seaside, Florida and years of Voice and Acting coaching with SuperbaVox Academy have led her to join the faculty of Charlotte Academy of Music with tons of excitement.
Some of Kirsten’s roles in musical theatre have included Heather MacNamara in Heathers, Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, Cinderella in Cinderella, Gretel in The Adventures of Hansel and Gretel, and many more. Kirsten also has done extensive film work in films such as Bag Boy, Dropping Out, Wake Up, Jerry, and This is the House that Clowns Built.
Trained in everything from on-camera acting, Shakespeare, Commedia dell’Arte, long and short form Improv, Opera, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Musical Theatre styles and more, Kirsten hopes to help students with an individualized, goal focused approach that will lead to safe, sustainable, and superior performances.
Kirsten is currently accepting students on Tuesdays and Fridays at CAM.
