The first day of summer arrives and you have big plans. Pinterest projects, day trips, backyard campouts…you’ve got this all worked out. But then the Pinterest project is an epic fail leaving a trail of glitter all over the house. The next day it rains on the long-anticipated day trip. It’s too hot for the campout. By the end of the first week of summer somehow things just aren’t quite turning out as you imagined. The kids beg for one TV show. That show turns into too much TV time, iPad time, video game time…hours later your children have transformed into Screen Time Zombies. What’s a parent to do?
Summer should be a time for hands on, creative, energetic, fun! It should be a time to meet new friends and develop social skills and confidence. CAM can help with that!
Each summer at CAM we plan a wide variety of SPLASH! camps . Many of our “Happy CAMpers” return year after year repeating their favorite camps and reconnecting with their buddies. You will also find Music Lessons n full swing busing that “summer brain drain.” Piano, guitar, voice, strings, woodwinds, and percussion lessons are available year round. Interested in Art? There’s our ever-popular Harry Potter Art or Magical Creatures camps. Interested in Musical Theater? Join our cast of Willy Wonka JR, and put on a full production in just 5 days! If Music if your thing, jam with us at Rock Band Camp, pick up the violin at Suzuki Camp, learn to play piano at Music Adventures, or make your own Music Video! All of our SPLASH! summer camps are taught by our professional teaching artists, and end with a camp showcase for family and friends.
