Alina found herself in music environments from a very young age, from singing at church on a Wednesday night service for the elderly, to a variety of lessons at a local music school. As a young youth, she moved to the United States and had her first experience playing in an orchestra which became her passion for life. Alina went on to study with Dr. Ernest Pereira, meanwhile playing under his baton in the Youth Orchestras of Charlotte. She later completed her music degree under the mentorship of violinist David Russell at the University Of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Alina is a mom of two daughters. In addition to music and teaching, she is passionate about all things health. She has enjoyed teaching violin and viola since 2012.
