Both new and longtime CAM families often have questions about all of the performances and special events we offer to our students. There are a lot, so we definitely get it! It can daunting to know the differences between all of the competitions, assessments, performances and exactly which offerings are best for your child.
This Sunday, October 21st we will be giving a parent workshop where we answer all of your questions about these important events. We will talk about which events are best for each age group and which are appropriate for each level of advancement. Staying involved in CAM events and participating in performances and assessments can help a student stay motivated and achieving their best. NFMC Festival, Royal Conservatory examinations, Forum Auditions, and CAM concerts are a few of the offerings we will discuss. In addition to covering these topics, we will also talk about practicing, and how parents can encourate their children in their music lessons. It will be a very informative time.
