It’s been great seeing many familiar faces, and meeting new Academy families as well, since we started our 2010-2011 school year this past Wednesday! There’s an exciting vibe in the air at Charlotte Academy of Music, and even parents and teachers are commenting on it. It could be the new website, the changes to the teaching studios, the addition of our new, exceptional faculty…not sure. I personally believe it’s simply that everyone is excited about learning and making beautiful music this year!
Our first performance opportunity for the year will be our Blue Note Lounge, “Favorite Songs.” This night is for Student’s Choice, all in a casual, informal concert! Performers will prepare one piece of their choosing. Sign up to perform on the website!
