Charlotte Academy of Music flute students, Mikaela Austin and Katie Verrill, recently participated in the Charlotte Music Club Scholarship Auditions. We are so pleased to announce that Mikaela earned 1st place and Katie earned 2nd place, both earning Oliver Cook Woodwinds Scholarships!
Students participating in this scholarship audition were required to perform, with an accompanist, one composition from the Baroque or Classical period, and one composition from the Romantic or Contemporary period. Mikaela and Katie study with Connie Beach at CAM.
