Each year the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program awards Certificates of Excellence to recognize the outstanding achievements of top-scoring students. We are very excited to announce that Charlotte Academy of Music piano student, Elijah Chen, was recently awarded two Certificates of Excellence. Elijah is a student of Phyllis Teague at CAM, where he participates in the Junior Piano Artistry Program. The two certificates bestowed upon Elijah included the Center Certificate of Excellence, and the State Certificate of Excellent.
The Center Certificate of Excellence is awarded to students who achieve the highest mark in their examination center in each level and discipline. The State Certificate of Excellence is awarded to students who achieve the highest mark in their state in each level and discipline.
These awards are an exceptional distinction. They are the result of hard work, dedication, and commitment. We congratulate Elijah Chen on this remarkable accomplishment!
