“Being connected with CAM changed my high school experience in more ways than simply continuing my piano studies. As an advanced student, I was offered numerous opportunities to get involved in the music world that I would not have had otherwise, and they certainly shaped my day-to-day life for the better. I helped run summer camps, thereby improving my leadership and communication skills. I taught music theory to children, which helped me work more independently. I had a formal senior recital which gave me an experience completely unique to me among my friends. And finally, I had a fantastic group of teachers over the years who were more than instructors but were also role models. My experiences as a piano student made me more confident, more independent, more driven, but most importantly, I have a skill now that I will cherish my whole life.”
Hannah Williams, CAM Alum who is currently a senior at The University of North Carolina Wilmington. Hannah is double majoring in Art History and English Literature. She plans to start her MA in Art History next fall. So so proud of this young lady!
