Irina Kornilova has spent more than thirty years educating music students, ages from 4 years old to adults. Having received the Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Republic Music Pedagogic College of Uzbekistan and the Master of Music Education from Tashkent State Pedagogy Institute, Irina skilled in teaching students of all levels of ability. Her teaching style is based on simplicity, understanding of the subject and enjoyment. Irina has also spent many years training future music teachers. In her home country of Uzbekistan, Irina also spent many years training future music teachers.
As a professional member of Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum, Irina remains committed to offering the best music education experience for her students. Some of her specific skills include private piano instruction, music history, accompanying, music theory, aural skills and ear training, choral conducting and concerto coaching.
