We’re creating art inspired by some of our recent faves like Wonka, Barbie, Trolls, and more! This camp is full of color and fun characters to create. With a little sunshine in our pockets and pure imagination, we’ll get creative this summer as we paint, draw, and sculpt our way through the magic of the movies!
Meet Your Camp Art Teacher!
We are excited to welcome local teacher and artist, Jesse Armstrong, to our camp faculty! Jess teaches K-5 art at Clear Creek Elementary and has led art camps at CAM for the past two years. She is very active in the CMS art department and its curriculum development, and was nominated for North Carolina Elementary Art Teacher of the Year in 2019. Jesse loves to learn and explore all kind of art mediums with her students including paint, clay, weaving, sculpture, printmaking, digital art, and photography. In an art class with Mrs. Armstrong there is never a dull moment! She loves getting messy, listening to music, and dancing along with art making.
