Our CAM family created over 150 handmade valentines for the residents two local assisted living facilities, Little Flower and Carrilon Assisted Living, both located in Mint Hill. The valentines were made by our students, teachers, and staff. One of our teachers also made many crocheted hearts to give. See photo slideshow below for photos from this CAMcares project.
CAM owner Regina Ziliani shared “Community is one of our core values at the Academy. We value a strong sense of community not only among our students, their families, our teachers and staff, but also through CAMcares outreach programs such as this. Showing compassion to our neighbors is an important part of our mission, and something we enjoy participating in together. We want our senior friends to know they are not forgotten. They are valued and loved!”
