Charlotte Academy of Music is pleased to welcome our newest faculty members, Charles Trotter (Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin).
Charles Trotter began playing the guitar at age 11, studying with many talented musicians in various musical styles including Classical, Jazz, Rock, Country, Blues, Reggae/Ska, Metal and Bluegrass. This ultimately led to Charles studying Guitar Performance at the University of South Carolina School of Music, where he earned his Bachelor of Music Degree.
Charles is the director and founder of the guitar programs at Charlotte Catholic High School and the British-American School. Charles will be teaching at the Academy beginning this fall on Fridays and Saturdays.
